Creating Space for the Sacred Art of Relaxation

our fast-paced lives, we often forget how essential it is to take time
to rest and restore our minds and bodies. Invest in your health by
joining Gennica and Amelia as they lead you on a journey to discover the
keys to unlocking deep and profound restoration.
This three hour
transformative workshop will leave you nourished, refreshed and feeling
confident in knowing your unique path to wellness. Participants will
receive a tool-kit filled with resources to carry the practice home with
Amelia & Gennica have drawn from their experience as
restorative yoga practitioners to create an integrated practice
including Aromatherapy, self-massage, restorative breath work, intention
setting, guided relaxation and supported restorative asana. Light
refreshments and live music will be offered.

Amelia chapman, MT-BC, CYT is a board-certified music therapist and certified yoga teacher.
She is a graduate of Seaside Yoga Sanctuary's first Integral Awakening
Teacher Training program. Amelia approaches asana with a strong awareness of anatomy and
alignment. She often incorporates meditation and breath work within her
practice and classes, and takes a creative approach to teaching. Amelia also co-facilitates SYS's monthly community drum circle with Cathy Rivera.
she is not teaching, Amelia enjoys making music, gardening, and playing
with her dogs. She strives to continue to grow and learn as a yogini,
musician, and child of the universe each day.
Ivey (200 HR EYT) began her teaching journey after attending Mount
Madonna School of Yoga in 2010. She was deeply influenced by her time
spent there and quickly decided to devote her life to the work of
serving others upon graduating. As
a teacher of both playful vinyasa flow and soothing restorative
classes, Gennica provides the opportunity to find presence and balance
Beginning February 2016, she will be working towards completing her 500-HR Advanced Yoga Certification with Jason Crandall.
