Full Moon Restorative Yin
with Gennica Cochran & Amelia Chapman
Saturday, Jan 23rd 2:00-5:00pm
With the arrival of the Full Moon each month, nature reminds us to pause and reflect on what we have cultivated – and what needs to be released.
The potent lunar energy of the January 2016 Full Moon can be harnessed to create more balance in our lives so we may become more in touch with our individual needs. Yin and Restorative Yoga asana is often practiced when the moon is fullest as we may feel more introspective and in need of rest during this time. The postures assist the body in releasing deeply held physical and emotional stress while creating space for connection and grace.
Join Amelia and Gennica for this three-hour restorative yin practice that will include gentle breath work, altar creation and intention setting, guided meditation, live music and a cleansing sage ritual to help reconnect you with your natural rhythms and highest self.
