Laura - Mother, writer, business owner and yoga teacher. She ﬁrmly believes that yoga is for everyone; regardless of age or physical ability and that it is through yoga and mindful living, that we can all ﬁnd health, wellness, and peace. Laura enthusiastically shares her love of yoga with her students. In her classes she brings attention to anatomy and mindful movement, and encourages compassionate self-study. She teaches Hatha yoga, prenatal & postnatal yoga, beginners, and is co-director of the Integral Awakening Yoga 200hr Yoga Teacher Training program. As a student of life, Laura was also called to share her experiences through writing. Our journey through life is very personal and yet very connected. Nothing is separate from the whole. Life encompasses all - both joy and sorrow. And it is love that is the root of everything. For love is what creates, births and transforms and it is love that can teach us how to live our life with Grace.
Mahendra Briksha – Breathwork Practioner
Briksha was born in the small
village of Himalayas, is a yogi, a certified Rebirthing Breathwork
practitioner, an Integral life coach and raw vegan chef. Mahendra Briksha
combines Vedantic-Yogic practices, Buddhist wisdom and Integral insights
in his teaching. He has been teaching and leading breathing sessions
and meditation classes for 10 years.
He is a graduate of the yoga
teacher-training program at the Vivekananda Yoga Research Center in
Bangalore, India and holds certificates in Integral Yoga from California
Institute of Integral studies, and Yoga Therapy from Purusha Yoga, and
has over 200 hours of Yoga Teacher training through Urban Flow with
Rusty Wells. Briksha is a resident teacher and manager of the Yoga
Society of San Francisco (http://yogasocietysanfrancisco.com) . He co-teaches the
200hr YTT for Seaside Yoga Sanctuary.
